Campaign Overview

A couple of days ago when I was thinking about which organizations to support, a thought occurred to me. How am I where I am today- in a position to be able to support somebody else? I believe that Dadaji’s quest for an education and the consequent move out of Sonupur has played a big hand in this. Remembering Papa’s story of how Dadaji would cycle 10-15 kms to the neighbouring village everyday, I thought it would be great if I could help some children fighting to get an education much like he did! To that end I have decided to contribute towards the work being done by Akshaya Patra. It runs the world’s largest mid-day meal program serving wholesome food to 1.6 million children in 13,000+ schools across India. My last thought in this long chain of thoughts :-) was to share this with you all. I think it would be great if, together, we could raise Rs.75,000- this would help feed 100 kids for a whole year!
